Union Gospel Mission Winnipeg is a non-profit evangelical, non-denominational Gospel Rescue Mission. Our purpose is to provide Christ-centered programs for the addicted and the poor men, women and children of Manitoba. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Chaplaincy team at our women’s addiction recovery program (the Charis Centre). We have an exciting opportunity for someone who is “smitten by the Mission” and would like to utilize their skills and experience for God’s purposes.
Some of the duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
-Facilitate Biblically based classes for the recovery program
-Invite residents to consider Jesus’ offer of salvation and individual weekly discipleship
-Prepare and deliver sermons at weekly chapel, in rotation with other chaplains
