From bondage to freedom, to the chains of drugs again.

In May of 2020 , an on-fire believer, a mountain of a man at 280 lbs, went through the waters of Baptism and stated he would henceforth follow Jesus all the days of his life.

A few months later, he left our Princess Street location for Selkirk, determined to ” Love a drug addict”. I chalked it on a wall in my office.

We didn’t hear from ‘W’ throughout the next 2 years….until yesterday that is.

Sitting on the floor outside a chaplain’s office, was a shell of a man. He was maybe a 120 lbs, barely recognizable, but it was him. He was trapped once again in the very drugs he had rejected. He was incoherent and unintelligible. ‘W’ was drawn back to UGM. He is desperate for deliverance from the life he has embraced. Please pray for ‘W’, who has such potential in the Lord’s hands. Pray he will go to detox and then come home to his family here at UGM.

It’s a battle, please help us fight for his life on our knees in prayer.

Amen
