Jo-Anne gratefully acknowledges the Lord for His goodness and kindness in His directing her life personally, her marriage to her husband and her career, first in the public sector, and now joining with many to serve our Lord by serving those in need. To Him be all the glory, honour and praise!

Ruth Ndung’u,
Charis RSW Manager
Originally from Kenya, Ruth and her son immigrated to Winnipeg in 2016. Leaving her home country, Ruth had only one prayer for her new country; that God would lead her and plant her in a Christ centered organization. So, exactly one month after landing in Winnipeg she got a job at the Charis Centre. She has faithfully served at the Charis Centre for 8 years and brings with her a passion for serving the residents and education, experience and skills to lead a team of RSW’s (Resident Support Workers) to minister to the women. Ruth feels grateful to serve and be part of the life changing ministry at the Charis Centre. Her favorite bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11 which constantly reminds us that God always has good plans for us and serving at the Charis Centre was God’s plan for her relocating to Canada.
