1. You need to know Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour
2. You must be an active member in an evangelical Church
3. You need to have a passion to help others know Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour
4. You should know how to lead someone to Jesus Christ
5. We are looking for those who are team players
6. You must lead a life-style that is sexually in line with God’s Word
7. You cannot be a smoker or a user of alcohol and illegal drugs
8. Must sign statement of faith
9. Must be legally allowed to be employed in Canada

FLC Ministry Helper – 1 Year Term
We have an exciting opportunity for someone who has a passion for sharing the love of the Lord Jesus Christ with children of the North End from the Family Life Centre at 240 Pritchard Avenue.
This position involves preparing Bible Lessons for the Kids Club, all aspects of the Emergency Food Program, unloading trucks, must be able to lift 50 lbs., and assisting with other Family Life Ministries.
SOME DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contact children with the goal of registering them in after school clubs.
- Minister spiritually to children and families of the North End.
- Receiving donations and preparing food hampers.
- Must be able to carry donations downstairs.
- Visiting and sharing the gospel with families whenever possible.
Case Manager – Men’s Addiction Recovery
We have an exciting opportunity for someone who has a desire to work with men who are struggling with addiction and would like to utilize their skills and experience for God’s purposes.
Some Responsibilities of this position include (but are not limited to):
- Serve as the first point of contact for applicants seeking assistance.
- Review and assess applications in alignment with UGM’s guidelines.
- Develop personalized recovery plans for the men in our program.
- Conduct regular check-ins and goal evaluations with residents.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records.
Must agree with UGM’s Statement of Faith and meet Qualifications for Employment.
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Driver – Charis Centre
This position is Part Time, 30 hours per week.
We have an exciting opportunity for a woman who as a desire to work with women who
are struggling with addiction and would like to utilize their skills and experience for God’s purposes.
Qualifications:
* Agree with our statement of faith and meet qualifications for employment.
* Have a desire to share your faith and prayer life with staff, volunteers and guests.
* Valid Manitoba drivers license & a class 4 license.
Duties:
- Drive residents to appointments as scheduled.
- Drive the bus to various events as needed.
- Ensure that the vehicles are filled with gas.
- Willing to be flexible with scheduled hours.
