Praise & Prayer

  • Pray for those that made a decision to follow Christ as Lord and Saviour, may they seek His guidance in their lives.

  • Praise the Lord for the overwhelming response to those who attended our Annual Community Street New Years Day Meal.  Guest attended a chapel service, submitted prayer requests and had an invitation to receive Christ as their Lord and Saviour.  They also received a Christmas Gift and a hot Turkey Dinner.

  • Pray for our clients as they continue to struggle with addiction to drugs and alcohol.  The winter months can be particularly hard.

  • Praise the Lord for God's overwhelming provision in 2019.  Our supporters have blessed us immensely.

Celebrations have commenced; the hustle and bustle of Christmas is all around us. Shopping malls are full, work parties, and family and friends gathering to have fun and spend time together.

As Christmas approaches and we celebrate the birth of our Savior, please remember in prayer those who struggle during the holidays. Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for our residents, so we do our best to make December a very festive time with lots of carols, food, fellowship and love!

During this season I encourage us all to focus on the real reason for the season. Christ came into the world so that we, a very imperfect world, would receive salvation.  Let’s celebrate His gift of grace, mercy and love by extending it to others.

"For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace."  Isaiah 9:6 | KJV |
