Praise & Prayer

  • Pray for those that made a decision to follow Christ as Lord and Saviour, may they seek His guidance in their lives.

  • Praise the Lord for the overwhelming response to those who attended our Annual Community Street New Years Day Meal.  Guest attended a chapel service, submitted prayer requests and had an invitation to receive Christ as their Lord and Saviour.  They also received a Christmas Gift and a hot Turkey Dinner.

  • Pray for our clients as they continue to struggle with addiction to drugs and alcohol.  The winter months can be particularly hard.

  • Praise the Lord for God's overwhelming provision in 2019.  Our supporters have blessed us immensely.

Christian School Program

Christian school blog

The Christian School Program is now accepting applications for the 2019-2020 school year. Although we are in the middle of a deep freeze in February, I’m thinking about the fall of 2019.  Getting our 75+ students re-registered for the fall is always a challenge.

The home visitations increase this time of year to make sure parents are filling out the appropriate paperwork.  It’s also a very good time of year to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the parents. When one is getting something for free, they will sit through anything you have to say.

With this in mind, on home visits I make sure I have Bible tracts and Bible in hand.  After the normal formalities of asking how everyone is doing, we get down to serious eternal questions.  It’s always a pleasure to sit and encourage the House of Saints; however I believe it’s more of a privilege to share the Gospel with the unsaved.

I’m always put to the test, with many valid questions as to why someone has to have a personal relationship with Jesus in order to get to Heaven.  Sometimes the truth falls on deaf ears and other times there is a spark of interest.  At times after pouring my heart out and there seems to be no interest, I have to remember what the Lord said through the prophet Isaiah…."So shall My Word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto Me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." (Isaiah 55:11).

Please pray with us that all students get re-registered and that we fill the Kindergarten class to the maximum capacity!
