Last fall the Board accepted the resignation/retirement of Greg Stetski (effective April 30th) who has faithfully served the Mission for over 30 years, the last 13 as Executive Director. We asked our many supporting churches and individuals to join us in prayer, seeking the Lord as to whom He wanted in leadership at Union Gospel Mission. A search committee was formed and several individuals were considered for the position.
The Board of Directors of the Union Gospel Mission is pleased to announce the Missionary Appointment of Frank Ulrich as our incoming Executive Director. We believe God has called him into this ministry and has guided the Board to recognize this. He will assume full responsibilities on May 1, 2017.
Frank has served several years in non-profit charitable organizations in the areas of human resources and administration. He has a deep desire to serve others and to share the Gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ. He is an active member of Rowandale Baptist Church in Winnipeg where he has ministered in many capacities, such as chairing the International Missions Committee, teaching Sunday School and serving as a youth leader. He has been overseas in mission outreach.
We encourage you to help us welcome Frank to the ministry at Union Gospel Mission and trust that we can count on your continued support in prayer, finances and volunteer personnel. We depend on the many churches like yours to reach out together in God’s love to the poor and needy. To God be the glory!
